Variations include the Spicy Paloma (adding jalapeño slices) and the Mezcal Paloma (using smoky mezcal instead of tequila).

  • 5 cl Tequila
  • 10 cl Grapefruit juice
  • 2 cl Lime juice
  • 1.5 cl Sugar syrup
  • 6 cl Soda water
  1. Rim a glass with salt (optional).
  2. Fill a highball glass with ice.
  3. Add tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and sugar syrup.
  4. Top with soda water and stir gently.
  5. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge.
