A perfect balance of sweet, sour, and strong whiskey notes with a silky texture, especially when made with egg white.

Served in a rocks glass with ice or straight up in a coupe glass, garnished with a cherry and an orange slice.

Variations include the New York Sour (topped with red wine) and the Maple Whiskey Sour (using maple syrup).

Pairs well with barbecue, smoked meats, and rich cheeses.

  • 5 cl Bourbon Whiskey
  • 3 cl Lemon juice
  • 2 cl Sugar syrup
  1. Fill a shaker with ice.
  2. Add whiskey, lemon juice, and sugar syrup.
  3. Shake well until chilled.
  4. Strain into a rocks glass with ice.
  5. Garnish with a cherry and an orange slice.
