A bold, whiskey-forward cocktail with tart citrus and a smooth red wine float adding depth and complexity.

Served in a short glass with a deep red wine layer floating over a golden whiskey base.

Try using port wine instead of red wine for a richer variation, or add cinnamon syrup for extra warmth.

Pairs well with grilled steaks, sharp cheeses, or chocolate desserts.

  • 6 cl Bourbon Whiskey
  • 3 cl Lemon juice
  • 2 cl Sugar syrup
  • 3 cl Red wine
  1. Shake bourbon, lemon juice, and sugar syrup with ice.
  2. Strain into a glass filled with ice.
  3. Slowly float the red wine over the back of a spoon.
  4. Serve without stirring.
